These Terms and Conditions govern any booking made with Ryaux Holiday Rentals ('We/Our'). By booking, You accept these conditions, certifying that You are over 18 years old and have the legal capacity to act. These conditions apply exclusively to bookings at Our establishments, subject to their legality and the jurisdiction of French courts.

Booking

A booking constitutes a contract between You and Us. It becomes firm when You receive our confirmation and one of the following conditions is met: (i) full payment, (ii) payment of a deposit, or (iii) pre-authorisation of a credit card to cover at least the cancellation fees. No withdrawal is possible. If the amount charged is less than the total, the balance must be paid upon arrival or departure, or as specified in the confirmation. A booking reference number will be provided to you by phone, online, or in the confirmation. This number is required for any subsequent modification or cancellation.

Rates

Prices are calculated based on the number of people, duration, dates, and room type, as specified in the confirmation. Any additional service or product chosen during the booking may be included in the total price. The rate is stated in the local currency at the time of payment and includes all applicable taxes at the booking date, such as VAT, tourist taxes, or other local taxes, which may change according to current legislation. Additional charges incurred during the stay are not included in this price.

Pricing Error

In case of an obvious pricing error or inability to accept your booking despite a confirmation being issued, We will promptly inform you and provide a full refund. We will not be liable for any additional expenses related to this error, especially if the booking was made through an intermediary or agency.

Availability

If We are unable to provide the reserved accommodation as described in your confirmation, We will offer alternative services. If these are cheaper, the price difference will be refunded to you. If they are more expensive, We will cover the difference, provided that the quality remains reasonably comparable.

Check-in and Check-out

The check-in and check-out times are specified in your confirmation. For arrivals outside of these hours, please contact us to reconfirm your arrival time. If you arrive after the deadline without prior agreement, We may cancel your booking and apply the penalties stated in your confirmation.

Cancellations and Amendments

To amend your booking (dates, occupants, room), rates may change. Cancellation terms are detailed in the "Cancellation Policy" section on your confirmation. Failure to show up by the scheduled time will be considered a total cancellation of the stay. If you cancel before the cancellation deadline, a refund will be issued upon request. After this date, penalties will be applied as per your confirmation, including for non-refundable services or products. Any unfeasible changes may result in the cancellation of your booking, subject to applicable penalties.

Payments

Your booking must be guaranteed by a valid credit card or other accepted method at the time of booking. Your data will be processed in accordance with PCI-DSS standards to secure your booking and carry out pre-authorisation or full payment. The amount charged at the booking will be taken immediately or as indicated. The remaining balance will be paid upon arrival or departure, or through additional services during the stay. If your card is charged before arrival, this amount will be deducted from the final bill. In the case of pre-authorisation, it will be released upon departure or cancelled if payment is made.

Liability

We describe our accommodation carefully but do not guarantee that it will perfectly meet your expectations. For any questions about our services, safety, or hygiene, contact us before the cancellation deadline. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for your booking and does not cover indirect or unforeseen damages related to events beyond our control (weather, strikes, traffic). You are responsible for damages caused by your fault or negligence during your stay. In the event of inappropriate behaviour or a serious complaint, we may cancel your stay without a refund.

Data Protection

The personal data collected during your booking is necessary for its processing. They are recorded in our system and transmitted to our service providers to manage your reservation. You have the right to access, rectify, and object by writing to the address indicated in your confirmation. This data may be transferred within the group or to our partners located outside the European Union, subject to an adequate level of protection in accordance with the GDPR. By booking on our site, you accept this processing in accordance with our privacy policy available on our site.
